Why a blog?
To be honest, I started this blog as a journal for myself. I have a terrible memory and thought this was a great (and necessary) way to capture all of the experiences that occur on this journey down under. I am fully aware, and so should you be, that I am not a professional writer.  I am merely doing this for fun and to share my travels with you!

Why "Dinky-Di"?
The title of my blog is slang for how Americans would say "No lie,or "For real." For example:  "I touched a shark in the Great Barrier Reef, really... no lie!" AKA- "I touched a shark in the Great Barrier Reef, really...dinky-di!"
So why is “Dinky-Di” a fitting title for my blog you ask?
Well....
I imagine there will be several experiences that occur on this trip that are going to be unbelievable. So when I am sharing my stories, just know I really am telling the truth...dinky-di!
